Renner Auto Body was founded in 1975 by Dale Renner. Dale hired Doug Huttmann in January 2004 to be the auto body shop manager. Doug has many years of exposure and experience in all areas of the auto body business. Doug's father Joe Huttmann, owned and operated his own body shop since Doug was 3 years old. This gave Doug the opportunity to grow up and work side by side with his father at a very young age to learn the art of collision repair.
Doug took a job at J&M Auto/Carquest in 1990 while still working with his father at Joe's Body Shop. He sold paint and supplies to auto body shops around Nebraska. This gave Doug the exposure to represent the industry as a specialist in paint. Doug then purchased Renner Auto Body from Dale Renner in July of 2004. The name for the business was never changed because Renner Auto Body is one of the original collision repair shops in Norfolk. The commitment to the principals that Doug's father taught him about the collision repair business remain steadfast. This has allowed Renner Auto Body to grow and be one of the most respected auto body shops in Northeast Nebraska.
